Although the stimuli-responsive polymers have been widely used for the controlled drug delivery (or release), all of the studies in the literatures have utilized a single stimulus. But, multiple stimuli should be employed to treat simultaneously different diseases. Here, we introduce a controlled-release system responding to dual stimuli. For this purpose, we modified the walls of alumina membrane (AAO) by two different surfaces along the thickness direction. Then, the walls in the upper part of AAO have a stimulus-responsive materials which is different from those in the lower part. |
