제목 Role of Titanium Oxide Layer in Polymer Solar Cells;An Architectural Investigation
초록 In this work, we have investigated the role of TiOx in polymer solar cells by introducing various titanium oxides and fabricating different architectural devices with these titanium oxide layers. Niobium (Nb) doped TiOx layer, TiOx layer, and anatase TiO2 layer were prepared and characterized by optical and electrical methods. Furthermore, two kind of architectural devices using these kinds of materials, a normal structure and an inverted structure, were fabricated. In normal structured solar cells, the role of optical spacer and lifetime were clarified with Nb-doped TiOx layer and TiOx layer. Inverted solar cells based on TiO2, TiOx, Nb-doped TiOx layer were fabricated to confirm the role of electron transport. Thus, our results indicate that the performance of polymer solar cells is closely correlated with electrical and optical properties of the titanium oxide layer.
