Conformal Perovskite Films on 100 cm2 Textured Silicon Surface by 2-step Vacuum Process |

Recently, research on the silicon/perovskite tandem solar cells have been actively conducted to overcome the theoretical efficiency limit of single-junction solar cells. In tandem solar cells, because each solar cell is connected in series, the current matching from two solar cells is the key factor for high efficiency. Therefore, it is very important to reduce the surface reflection of light from the textured surface. However, it is difficult to achieve conformal deposition of perovskite films (PFs) on textured silicon surfaces by the solution process. For this reason, a flat-front silicon/perovskite tandem solar cell has been fabricated; however, it suffers from a large loss of light and current due to surface reflection. In this study, PFs are conformally deposited on 100 cm2 textured silicon substrate by a sputtering and chemical vapor deposition (CVD) process. The uniformity of reflectance is more than 86% and the uniformity of thickness is more than 92%. We fabricated the PFs by converting thin films of sputtered-precursor with CVD process and the device on glass / FTO / c-TiO2 / CH3NH3PbI3 / spiro-OMeTAD / Au structure was fabricated. |
