제목 Preparation and Performance of Inkjet Printed Silver Cathode for Organic Photovoltaic Cells
초록 The inkjet printing technologies have been developed for the fabrication of large area organic electronics, such as OLED, OTFT, and OPVC by their low-cost alternatives. In the case of inkjetted OPVC, only several publications are reported by now. Especially, we have already reported 4.2% efficiency Inkjet printed OPVC1) with a mixture of P3HT:PCBM inkjetted active layer and vacuum deposited Al electrode. Also, we have focused on the development of all inkjetted OPVCs including printed cathode electrode. Unfortunately, Al metals are unable to make nanosize inks by the reason of their low oxidate stability. Generally, Ag metals show almost same work function compare to Al metals and these metal inks are commercially available. Thus, we used nanosize Ag inks for inkjetted cathode of OPVC.2) Silver ink was printed on the active layer of film of P3HT and PCBM and the power conversion efficiency of 0.9% under AM 1.5G (100 mW/cm2) with a short circuit current of 3.79 mA/cm2, a fill factor of 0.44, and an open circuit voltage of 0.54V have been achieved. Even if the performance of this device should be improved, it is very important that our photovoltaic cell is the first result of all inkjetted organic photovoltaic cells. The present study discusses the performance of the devices with inkjetted Ag cathode layer.
