제목 | Nano-Hybridization of Waterborne Epoxy-Layered Material and Its Thin Film Barrier Coating |
초록 | Inorganic nanoparticle with layered silicate has been used in various nanocomposite materials due to its structural properties. For preparing nanocomposite, the most typical method is using natural clay treated organic surfactant and anothor method could be feasible that direct synthesis of clay-like materials using inorganic and organic raw materials. The later method is approriate for specific fields requiring fine-particle size ,purity, thixotropic behavior and so on. Our purpose of the research is to make thin film coating having protective barrier properties due to disk-like shape of nano-scale dispersion that has tortous path. In this study we used modified clay and clay like material which is synthesized by hydrothermal crystallization, sol-gel temlplate (self-assembly) with various mixing method. Waterborne epoxy emulsion is used to the matrix of this nanocomposite. Mg(OH)2, MgCl2, LiF, SiO2, organo-trialkoxysilane, TEA and other organics are used in synthesizing layered silicate and various modified clay was also used. The nano-hybridization of crystal structure and dispersion properties were investigated by XRD, TEM, SEM, FTIR, NMR, TG-DTA, elementary analysis, etc. The barrier property of thin film coating is characterized by anti-corrosion effet test on Zn-steel plate. |
