Low-shrinking Low-Temperature Cofired Ceramic Tape as a Semi-Constraint Layer |
초록 |
The low-shrinking ceramic tape which could be used as a semi-constraint layer was developed. The effect of the low-shrinking ceramic layer on the ceramic substrate with a cavity structure was investigated. The low-shrinking layer was composed of CaO-Al2O3-SiO2-based glass, plate-like alumina, and organic additives. As the plate-like aluminas were horizontally arranged in ceramic tapes during tape casting and hindered themselves from moving in the X-Y directions during firing, the linear shrinkage took place mainly in the Z direction with just a little shrinkage in the X-Y directions. By controlling the glass-to-alumina ratio and organic content, it was possible to obtain fully densified LTCC laminates with X-Y shrinkage of 5.2%. In the ceramic substrate the low-shrinking layers were used as semi-constraint layers so that the constrained sintering of the cavity could be reinforced. |
