제목 Synthesis of polypyrrole nanoparticle emulsions as gas sensors for NO2 detection
초록 Carboxylic acid-functionalized polypyrrole dispersion solutions were synthesized by using micelle templates in one-step emulsion polymerization. The functional carboxyl groups were effectively incorporated into the polymer backbone during the polymerization by using amino acid (L or D-phenylalanine). Functionalized polypyrrole dispersion solution with an average diameter of 50 nm was successfully prepared, in which enantiomeric phenylalanine molecule acted as both the dopant and pseudo-template. Dispersed functionalized polypyrrole solution has high surface energy and it can get high sensitivity as a NO2 detection sensor.
