제목 Highly luminescent SiO2 nanocomposites containing multiple CdSe/ZnS quantum dots at high concentration and their LED application
초록 We have synthesized highly luminescent nanocomposites composed of colloidal CdSe/ZnS quantum dots (QDs) dispersed in silica matrix.  The self-assembled ensembles of QDs, CdSe/ZnS were formed with spray dispersion method.  Subsequently, SiO2 layers were directly formed on the QD ensembles using conventional sol-gel process. The photoluminescence properties of resultant QD-silica nanocomposite particles were investigated to check their performance. Interestingly, the position of photoluminescence spectra (PL) was blue-shifted and we checked the nanocomposites with Raman spectroscopy.  Further, we applied the nanocomposite to improve the emission spectrum of the white LED.
