Supported and unsupported Al2O3,TiO2 and Al2O3-TiO2ceramic membranes were prepared by sol-gel processing. In case of Al2O3-TiO2ceramic membranes, bohemite sol and titania sol were properly mixed at various Al/Ti ratio. After calcination at 400℃, 600℃and 750℃, the unsupported membranes were characterized by BET, XRD,IR and TGA to examine variation of pore structure and crystalline structure, and thermal decomposition properties. For the Al2O3-TiO2 ceramic membranes, the transformation temperature from anatase to rutile phase was delayed depending on Al/Ti ratio. |
