제목 재내피화를 위한 내피전구세포 특이적 금속스텐트 개발Endothelial Progenitor Cells-Specific Metallic Stent Modifications for Enhanced Endothelialization: Delivery or Recruit Progenitors?
초록 In recent several decades, in-stent restenosis and thrombosis have been still major reasons of clinical failure. The fundamental solution of such failures is well known to restore damaged endothelium, named endothelialization. In this study, we focused on functionalizing surface of metallic stent by mimicking natural healing mechanism of damaged endothelium. For the aim of this study, three different strategies were tried as follows. As the first strategy, stent surface was modified with in vitro manipulated extracellular matrices for the delivery of endothelial progenitor cells. Second strategy is that stent surface is modified with LbL technology for recruiting endogenous endothelial progenitors. Finally, stent surface is modified with oriented antibody immobilization for capturing circulating endothelial progenitors. These strategies may be fundamental breakthrough of stenting failure that is caused by in-stent restenosis and thrombosis.
