Morphology control of crosslinked polymer particles in the dispersion polymerization in the presence of iodine |
| 초록 |
Crosslinked PMMA polymer particles have been successfully prepared by dispersion polymerization using EGDMA as crosslinking agent at 60oC for 12 h under nitrogen atmosphere. The surface morphology of the crosslinked particles was influenced not only by the concentration of crosslinking agents, but also by the molecular weights of the polymer. The molecular weight was able to control using iodine as a chain transfer agent and the results were characterized in terms of OM (optical microscope), SEM (scanning electron microscope) and GPC (gel permeation chromatography). |
