제목 Photopolymerization of high RI aromatic methacrylate and its application to holographic recording
초록 Photopolymer compositions were prepared from aromatic methacrylates. The photopolymerizable mixture contains high refractive index(RI) aromatic (meth)acrylate (AMA). Photopolymer films were prepared by using a mixture of AMA and polymeric binder. The film was successfully photopolymerized by visible light of 532nm wavelength in the presence of a sensitizer and a photoinitiator. The polymerization was determined by infrared(IR) spectroscopy and differential scaning calorimeter(DSC) in an isothermal mode. The refractive index change by photo cross-linking of AMA in polymer matrix was larger than 0.001. Plane-wave-grating holograms were written into the photopolymer samples by interfering two collimated plane wave beams. The resulting holograms were monitored by the readout reference beam at 532nm wavelength with the signal beam blocked, for the most accurated final-state diffraction measurements. Diffraction efficiency and holographic recording properties will be presented.
