제목 Luminescent Organogels Composed of Metal Chelate with Hydroxyphenylbenzoxazole Lignad
초록 A new series of low molar mass organogelators containing zinc(II)-, copper(II)- and palladium(II)-chelate with 2-(2'-hydroxyphenyl)benzoxazole (HPB) were synthesized. Chelate-based organogelators could gelate in various organic solvents at low concentrations by heating-cooling method. Electron microscope measurements gave visual images of well-developed self-assembled structures of organogels. IR spectroscopy revealed that gelation ablilty of chelate-based organogels arises from the π-π interactions of the chelate moites and the hydrogen-bond interactions among the urea groups. Optical properties of chelate-based organogels were confirmed with UV/vis and fluorescence spectroscopy.
