Nanostructured materials with different structures and morphologies have received considerable attention owing to their novel properties and various applications. In this talk, I will discuss various nanostructured materials with tunable structure and compositions and their properties and applications in catalyst, energy storage and electronic devices. First, I will talk about the aerosol-assisted synthesis of various nanostructured porous materials (metals, metal oxides, and semiconductors) with controlled structure and morphologies. Second, the controlled regulation of physico-chemical properties of nanomaterials will be covered. In the end, the applications of nanomaterials will be discussed. Note that, as-synthesized nanomaterials as novel bimetallic catalysts (gas and liquid phase), energy storage (lithium-ion-battery) and electronic devices (transparent flexible electrodes) exhibit enhanced performance and stabilities. |
