제목 Improved sensitivity of gas sensor using electrospun carbon nano-fiberswith high specific surface area and controlled pore structure
초록 To prepare a novel gas sensor, activated carbon nano-fibers were prepared. Polyacrylonitrile based fibers were fabricated by electrospinning and then thermally treated for the stabilization and carbonization. Carbon nano-fibers were also activated by chemical activation process by using potassium hydroxide. The surface morphology of fibers was investigated by FE-SEM. The specific surface area and pore structure were evaluated by BET and DFT equations. The ability of sensing gas was investigated by using Keithley 6514 electrometer. In conclusion, the sensibility was increased significantly with higher specific surface area and micro pore structure.
