Preparation of Ethylene vinyl acetate(EVA) heterogeneous cation exchange membrane. |

Ion exchange resin is a widely used for the purpose of absorption, as well as ion exchange. In this study, the advantage of the ion exchange resin using a matrix of Ethylene Vinyl acetate (EVA) was enhanced physical properties. The matrix with the ion exchange resin was subjected to tests at the variety ion exchange content. 50% 60% and 70%. The cation exchange resins were pulverized by air jet mill. The average particle size of the cation exchange resins were under 50μm. And then two roll mill was used to dispers the matrix and Ion exchange resin. The morphology of the heterogeneous membranes were investigated by scanning electron microscope(SEM). And tensile strength and elongation were tested by Universal Testing Machine(UTM). The electrical resistivity and ion exchange capacity were measured for electrical property. |
