제목 Effect of Nanoparticles on the Microwave Dielectric Properties of BN / PVB Composites
초록 Dependence of microwave dielectric properties of BN nanoparticles / polyvinyl butyral (PVB) composites was investigated as function of amphiphilic agent content. The surface modification of BN nanoparticles were effectively treated by amphiphilic agent than that of BN microparticles due to the large surface area of nanoparticles. With increasing amphiphilic agent content, the dielectric loss (tanδ) decreased because of the increase of interfacial adhesion. The composites with amphiphilic agent treated BN showed a lower dielectric constant (K) than the composites with pristine BN. This result could be attributed to the strong hydrogen bonds between BN and PVB caused by the dipolar groups were immobilized in the vicinity of the BN particles. For the same content of amphiphilic agent, the K of composites with BN treated by C14H6O8 showed lower than that of treated by C27H27N3O2, which could be attributed to the higher number of hydroxyl groups for C14H6O8 than C27H27N3O2.
