This study investigates the physicochemical and electrochemical properties of carbonized samples obtained from concentrated strong acid hydrolysis lignin. The sample carbonized at a low temperature of 900 °C exhibited a larger interlayer spacing, a higher specific surface area, a larger pore volume, and larger amorphous carbon. The electrode exhibit a high reversible capacity of 392.2 mAh g−1 at 50 mA g−1 after 100 cycles, a high rate capacity of 150.7 mAh g−1 at a high rate of 5 A g−1, and a long-term cycling performance of 247.3 mAh g−1 at 1 A g−1 after 400 cycles. |
