제목 Preparation and Characterization of Urethane Coated PAN/PES Ultrafiltration Membrane
초록 Three-tier composite membrane for ultrafiltration was fabricated. PET micro-filter and electrospun PAN/PES membrane were prepared for the substrate and the mid-layer, respectively. Electrospun membrane could provide high flux efficiency owing to the high porosity and the solid connection between the pores. In order to reduce the interaction with natural organic matter (NOM) and the fouling caused by NOM, modified polyurethane was synthesized for the top-coating layer. Morphology and thermal properties of the three-tier membrane were characterized via SEM and TGA. Chemical stability and pH-resistance of the membrane were also determined. To evaluate filtration efficiency, dead-end and cross-flow filtration tests were performed. The filtering characteristic of the membrane was investigated using UV spectroscopy.
