Stabilization of a Coatable Polarizer from Sunset Yellow FCF using Surfactants |
| 초록 |
Through a lyotropic liquid crystalline (LLC) molecular self-assembly, a coatable polarizer, which can be an inevitable component for flexible displays, was fabricated from Sunset Yellow FCF using a doctor blade. In order to stabilize the LLC polarizer as well as to minimize the possible defects generated during and after the coating, a series of surfactants was added into the coating solution. Thermal, electrical, chemical and optical properties of the coated polarizer were further studied with respect to the concentration of each component. |
