Aligned PLCL nanosheets functionalized with RGD/IKVAV peptides for applications to neural tissue engineering |
초록 |
Many studies have been focused on the development of tissue engineering scaffold promoting neuronal cell behaviors. Herein, poly(lactide-co-ε-caprolactone) (PLCL) nanofiber sheets functionalized with M13 phages co-expressing RGD and IKVAV peptides (RGD/IKVAV-PLCL nanosheets) were fabricated by electrospinning. The physicochemical properties of RGD/IKVAV-PLCL nanosheets were characterized, and the cellular behaviors of HT22 mouse hippocampal cells on the nanosheets were investigated. Our results showed that HT22 hippocampal cell behaviors were remarkably promoted on the nanosheets. In conclusion, it is suggested that RGD/IKVAV-PLCL nanosheets can be promising candidates as neural tissue engineering scaffolds. |
