제목 | PVK nanoparticles prepared by emulsion polymerization and its photoconductivity |
초록 | Poly(N-vinylcarbazole) (PVK) has been attracted a lot of attention because of their photophysical properties and wide application such as photo-conductor, electroluminescent and photorefractive devices. In this work, we prepared PVK nanoparticles by oil-in-water emulsion polymerization of N-vinylcarbazole (VCz) in a biphasic system. PVK nanoparticles were synthesized using the VCz solution in water. It is found that the concentration of surfactant and VCz monomer influenced the size of micelles. PVK nanoparticles have the spherical shape and the average diameter of 50-200nm by transmission electron microscope (TEM) images. Also, we characterized the photoconductivity of PVK nanoparticles.
