제목 Fabrication of electrospun polyvinylidene fluoride/ fatty acids eutectic/fumed silica nano composite fibers used in energy storage
초록 Nano composite fibers of fatty acids/polymer have been researched and developed as innovative form-stable phase change materials (PCMs) by using electrospinning technique. In the present work, the eutectic of capric acid (CA) – palmitic acid (PA), with ratio CA:PA=84.08 : 15.82 (w/w), was prepared through melt-blending followed by super-sonication. Thereafter, nano composite fibers consisting of CA-PA eutectic, polyvinylidene fluoride (PVDF) and fumed silica (SiO2) were successfully electrospun. Influences of fumed silica on structure morphologies, thermal properties and tensile properties of electrospun (e-spun) fibers were characterized by field emission scanning electron microscopy (FE-SEM), differential scanning calorimeter (DSC) and tensile testing, respectively. The nano composite fibers of CA-PA eutectic/PVDF/ fumed SiO2 had large energy storage capacity and excellent mechanical strength.
