Control of drug release behavior of pH-responsive PVA/PAAc hydrogel by surface modification |
초록 |
The pH-responsive hydrogel was prepared for a drug delivery system by radical polymerization. The drug release rate was controlled by surface modification using oxyfluorination or fluorination. The hydrophilicity of hydrogels increased by oxyfluorination. On the other hand, the hydrophobicity of hydrogel increased by fluorination. The swelling behavior of hydrogels was strongly dependent on the surface treatment. The drug release was accelerated as the surface of hydrogels became more hydrophilic. The sustained release of drug was obtained by modifying the surface of hydrogels more hydrophobic. |
