제목 | Algal oil extraction using a FAME/methanol extractant |
초록 | Extraction of triacyl glyceride(TAG) and development of a process to produce biodiesel from microalgae play important roles in the productivity and the price of biodiesel from microalgae. It is necessary to develop a new process with high extraction efficiency and low cost. Biodiesel and methanol are mixed up with diverse composition as a recyclable solvent for extraction. A novel extraction method which extracts lipid from dried microalgae by mixing it with biodiesel/methanol is developed. Chlorella, Nannochloropsis, and Chlamydomonas are used for this study. Two of them, Chlorella and Chlamydomonas show high extraction efficiency. A study is conducted to find the optimized composition between biodiesel and methanol in extraction solvent. In case of Chlorella, the extraction efficiency with biodiesel/methanol is 1.06 times higher than that of chloroform/methanol and yield is higher than 95 percent. |
