제목 Hydrogenolysis of glycerol to propylene glycol onmixed-metal oxide catalysts
초록 Hydrogenolysis of biomass-derived glycerol is an alternative route to sustainable production of propylene glycol. hydrogenolysis of glycerol to propylene glycol was performed using Cu, Cu/Cr, Zn/Al and Cu/Zn/Al, heteropolyacid catalysts. The physicochemical properties of the catalysts were studied by X-ray diffraction(XRD), inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometry(ICP-MS), BET surface area. The conversion of glycerol with selectivity toward propylene glycol and yield in product was obtained by Gas chromatography(GC) measurement.
