제목 Iron-Ceria spinel (FeCe2O4) catalyst for dry reforming of propane to inhibit of carbon formation
초록 Iron-Ceria spinel (FeCe2O4) catalyst was synthesized on mesoporous alumina foam (Al-F) by the sol-gel method, and their catalytic behavior in the propane dry reforming (PRD) was investigated.  It was found that these catalysts had comparable activity to that of a NiO-CeO2/Al-F and CeO2/Al-F catalyst for the production of synthesis gas (syngas) via dry reforming of propane. The fresh Fe-Ce catalyst was composed of the spinel phase FeCe2O4 as well as NiO-CeO2 and CeO2. X-ray diffraction (XRD) analysis reveals the phase of the FeCe2O4 spinel in the fresh and used catalyst. Raman and X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS) showed the elemental properties of all prepared catalyst. Field emission scanning electron microscopy (FESEM) reveals all metals were well dispersed on the surface of the Al-F.
