제목 Achieving High Coulombic Efficiency and Stable Capacity Retention of Si/C Anode for LIB through Chemical Pre-Lithiation
초록 Silicon has attracted attention as an anode material for a lithium ion battery (LIB), which has a high theoretical capacity of 4,800 mAh/g and is useful for supply and demand at a low price. However, despite these advantages, the expansion and contraction of silicon particles caused during charging and discharging leads to unstable cycle stability, making it difficult to commercialize. This research aims to prevent the exposure of silicon particles to the electrolyte through coating the carbon material on the outside of silicon particles and improve the initial coulombic efficiency after pre-lithiation. The carbon source used is tannic acid, a kind of hard carbon, and pre-lithiation was performed in an electrode state using a lithium solution made of an organic solvent. As a result of the study, it was confirmed that the initial coulombic efficiency increased and the capacity retention rate improved. compared to the reference silicon and carbon composites.
