제목 Study of the mechanical properties and flammability of epoxy resins containing red phosphorous cured by γ-ray radiation
초록 Diglycidyl ether of bisphenol A (DGEBA) containing red phosphorous was cured by γ-ray radiation. The mechanical properties and flammability of the cured resins were investigated. The content of red phosphorous in the DGEBA is 5, 10, 15 and 20 phr. The mixture of epoxy resin/red phosphorus was exposed to γ-irradiation doses 50, 100, 150 and 200 kGy. The thermal stability by various content of red phosphorous is investigated by differential scanning calorimeter (DSC) and thermal gravimetric analysis (TGA). Char yield and limiting oxygen index(LOI) of the cured resins are investigated. The strength of the cured specimens was tested by the three-point bending mode.
