제목 Influence of Acid Treatments for Improving Mechanical Interfacial Properties of Basalt/Epoxy Composites
초록 We studied the influence of acid-treated basalt fibers on the mechanical interfacial properties of basalt fiber/epoxy composites. The surface properties of the basalt fibers were determined by Boehm titration and X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS). The mechanical interfacial properties of the composites were characterized by interlaminar shear stress (ILSS) and critical stress intensity factor (KIC). The morphologies of fracture surface were studied by scanning electron microscopy (SEM). From the results, the acid-treated basalt fibers enhanced mechanical interfacial properties of the composites.
