제목 Improving resistivity of ITO on PDMS with buckling and its application
초록 This work presents an approach to improve the electrical resistivity of ITO film on flexible substrate. In comparison with the ITO layer on flat surface, the one on buckled surface showed a noticeable difference in the resistivity under bending condition.
In a typical procedure, thin PDMS sheet was made and an anisotropic buckling phenomenon was induced to occur. Subsequently, ITO film was deposited on this wrinkled PDMS by sputtering. The electrical resistivity and surface pattern morphology were examined with SEM and sheet resistivity measurement after repetition of bending operation.
Consequently, it was observed that the buckling could reduce the ITO from stress originated from bending and make the pattern regular, resulting in improvement of conductivity. In addition, a WO3 layer was deposited on the ITO surface for application in electrochromic display.
