제목 Engineering of monooxygenases for whole cell biotransformation
초록 A current challenge in industrial application of monooxygenase enzymes, especially cytochrome P450 monooxygenase (CYP), which is known as a versatile biocatalyst with its useful regio/stereo-specific hydroxylation activity, is in the development of desired higher activity and the cofactor requirements in whole cell bioconversion. Here some successful stories of engineering of self-sufficient CYP102D1 with increased catalytic activities and regioselectivity. Also, a platform cell development regarding bio-indigo production using novel self-sufficient CYP102A, which id the first report that wild-type self-sufficient CYP enzyme could produce indigo without any mutation as far as we understand will be demonstrated.
