Corrosion products were circulated in the coolant of nuclear power plants, during which they became radioactive on the fuel cladding and attached onto the wall of SG tubes and RCS pipes and also they became dissolved and precipitated on the physico-chemical condition of coolant. The corrosion products need to be removed through the shutdown chemistry for the decrease of the radioactive level in the primary system. However, their removal mechanism is not understood from the equilibrium standpoint of particles. This study was to investigate the kinetic characteristics of particles from the room temperature to the operating temperature. |
