Improvement in photovoltaic performance induced by increased crystallinity of Poly(3-hexylthiophene) |
초록 |
We suggested a novel approach to enhancing the crystallinity of P3HT in a P3HT:PC61BM blend via self-assembly promoted by a thiophene-based all-conjugated amphiphilic block copolymer. The crystallinity of the block copolymer exceeded the crystallinity of the P3HT alone due to the packing effects caused by repulsion among the hydrophobic hexyl and hydrophilic ethylene glycol oligomer side chains. The packing effects induced by the hydrophilic ethylene glycol oligomer side chains were expected to become significant in a P3HT:PC61BM mixture upon the addition of small amounts of the block copolymer. This led to the formation of a higher-order structure with enhanced P3HT crystallinity, even in the P3HT:PC61BM blend. |
