Silver-loaded activated carbons for elemental mercury adsorption behaviors |
초록 |
In this study, the adsorption behaviors of elemental mercury by silver-plated activated carbons have been investigated. The surface properties of the ACs studied have been characterized by using x-ray diffraction (XRD). The textural properties were studied by BET and D-R methods with N2/77 K adsorption isotherms. Experimental results showed the adsorption capacity of mercury was increased as the silver loading. This was probably due to the introduction of silver on ACs led to an increase in the surface functionality. |
