Stable Performance of Polymer Solar Cells Using Solution-Based Titanium Oxide |

We verified positive effects of sol-gel processed titanium oxide (TiOx) in the polymer solar cells (PSCs). Since the TiOx is transparent and n-doped inorganic semiconductors, it has been used as stable electron transport layer (ETL). In addition, it has shown the inner-packaging properties for organic devices from its development. Using these properties, the TiOx can be applicable for PSCs. We prove its positive effects from the used TiOx as ETL to the packaging in the various PSCs even on flexible substrates. These effects in the ambient air state were shown at the temperature of 80 ℃ and the 60 % of humidity. From the researches, it can be interpreted that the TiOx gives the stability of performance in both thermally and chemically. |
