We synthesized highly ordered and magnetic nanoparticles containing mesoporous carbon via one-pot synthesis. With the content of Fe below 2.5 wt%, the mesostructures of magnetite containing mesoporous carbons were well retained with p6mm at 700 oC, while the mesostructures were collapsed with the content above 5 wt% Fe. BET surface area and pore size of the magnetite containing masoporous carbon with 1wt% iron (1 wt% Fe-FDU-15) were 635.4 m2g-1 and 36.0 , respectively. The saturation magnetization value of 1 wt% Fe-FDU-15 after carbonization at 700 oC was 7.7 emug-1. BET surface area and pore size of 1wt% Co- and Ni-FDU-15 were 700.0, 528.4 m2g-1 and 17.2, 36.4 after carbonization at 700 oC, respectively. The saturation magnetization value of 1wt% Co- and Ni-FDU-15 was 1.3 and 1.0 emug-1, respectively. We demonstrated the usefulness of these composites for the adsorption of amino acid (phenylalanine) and proved their easy manipulation by means of an external magnetic field. |
