SANS and SAXS studies on Miscibility and Structure of Polyethylene Blends (II) |
초록 |
Small-angle neutron scatterings have been measured for the solid state of polyethylene (PE) blends between the fully deuterated octene linear low-density polyethylene (O-LLDPE) and hydrogenated low-density polyethylene (LDPE). As a results of the SANS and SAXS studies the mixtures are evident to be homogenous for all compositions at the molten state. FT-IR and WAXD investigations were additionally conducted for the mixture samples slowly cooled at 0.5oC/min, and found that phase separated regions are co-existent with miscible regions. Results of the quantitative analysis for SANS, SAXS and WAXD will be presented in detail. This study was supported by KISTEP (Basic Research Fund of Atomic Energy in 1999-2001) |
