Two types of dendritic porphyrin ligands ([CO2H]4-G2PZn, [CO2H]2-G1PZn), having different number of COOH groups on dendritic surface, have been synthesized and complexed with Er3+for optical amplification. All the complexes were fully characterized by using FT-IR, 1H-NMR, UV-Vis absorption and fluorescence spectroscopies. The results showed that the luminescence intensity of Er3+ ion was increased by occurring an efficient energy transfer process from porphyrin ligand to Er3+ ion. Here, we report on the generation effect of the dendrimers on the complex formation and luminescence properties. |
