Simple approach to the synthesis of hollow microspheres with polypyrrole/silica hybrid walls |

In this study, a simple approach for templating synthesis of polypyrrole hollow composite microspheres with polypyrrole/silica walls. polypyrrole (PPy)/silica composite hollow spheres have been successfully synthesized in one step using sulfonated polystyrene(PS) spheres as templates. The morphology, composition and magnetic properties of the resulting products were characterized by scanning electron microscopy (SEM), X-ray diffraction (XRD), Fourier transform infrared (FT-IR) spectroscopy. |
