제목 The transparent field emission device using the SWNTs synthesized by vapor phase growth method
초록     The transparent field emission device based on the purity of the SWNT-DMF solution was developed. Highly crystalline single-wall carbon nanotubes (SWNTs) were successful synthesized by using a vapor phase growth method. The transparence was improved by using a purification process which was performed to remove amorphous carbon and inactive nano-particles remained in the SWNTs. The X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS) analysis and scanning electron microscopy (SEM) were examined at each purification process for the SWNTs. The purified SWNTs were diluted and dispersed in the n,n-dimethylformamide (DMF) by using an ultra-sonic and a magnetic stirrer. A centrifugal machine was used to reject the residue in the SWNT-DMF solution. A spray-coating method was performed to fabricate the transparent field emission devices. The transparent field emission device showed a maximum current density of 1.7 mA cm-1 and a low turn-on field emission of 1.6 V µm-1 with a high field enhancement factor of 2×105 cm-1.
