Ethylene polymerization/oligomerization by Co(II) and Fe(II) complexes of bis(imino)pyridyl ligands containing annealed pyridine backbone |
| 초록 |
The design and synthesis of efficient transition metal complex catalysts that precisely control olefin coordination polymerization have attracted considerable interest recently. In that aspect, we have designed and synthesized a new series of bis(imino)pyridyl ligands containing annealed pyridine backbone and their Co(II) and Fe(II) complexes. The complexes showed productivity in excess of 106 g polymer molM-1 h-1 towards ethylene oiligomerization when activated with Methylaluminoxane (MAO). Polymers were having a highly linear structure as evidenced by by high Tm. |
