Direct patterning of quantum dot nano-structure and enhancement of its quantum yield with plasmonic Au nanowall |
초록 |
Production of user-defined 2D patterned arrays of quantum dots (QDs) is still quite challenging issue because of intensity reduction, resolution limitation, and the alignment issue which result in restricted uses of QDs for practical applications in various fields. In this paper, a new approach for direct patterning of QD nanostructures is developed using soft lithography technique with PDMS stamp and QD/polystyrene solution. More important is that with resulting robust QD nanostructure, we successfully attached 10nm scale gold nanowall onto QD pre-pattern using secondary sputtering lithography during ion-bombardment process. This plasmonic gold nanowall induced metal enhanced fluorescence (MEF) phenomenon resulting enhancement of fluorescence signal intensity. Accordingly, in the near future, this facile approach for QD direct patterning with plasmonic nanostructures could be used as optical substrate for imaging applications and fabrication of QD-LED devices. |
