Atomically Thin Epitaxial Template for Organic Crystal Growth Using Wettability Controlled Graphene |
초록 |
Here, utilizing the extraordinary thin monolayer graphene on the wettability controlled substrates, we engineered the interactions between pentacene molecules and graphene surface. In particular, the surface energy of the substrate beneath the graphene monolayer played the decisive role in setting the growth mode of pentacene crystals. The molecular orientation of pentacene, however, was consistently determined by hexagonal lattices of graphene surface, regardless of substrate. |
