Microporous materials have diverse applications such as gas storage, separation, or catalysis. Especially the gas storage materials are very important for the development of future transportation vehicles. MOFs (metal-organic-frameworks), nanoporous carbons, and hypercross-linked polymers have been proposed as candidates. In this work, we prepared clickable microporous hydrocarbon particles consisting of carbon and hydrogen. We were able to control particle morphologies with variation of polymerization conditions and to functionalize the surface utilizing a click process. |
