Layered LiCoO2 phase can be used as a cathode material for lithium rechargeable battery. In this work, porous LiCoO2 were prepared with various carbon templates from sol-gel solution containing LiNO3 and Co(NO3)2•6H2O. Transmission electron microscope results showed that uniform length and diameter of porous LiCoO2 were obtained. The structural and compositional purity of prepared LiCoO2 phase were investigated by powder X-ray diffraction (XRD), Raman spectroscopy, and/or ICP elemental analysis. |
