제목 Cycling Performances of Lithium-Ion Batteries assembled with Organic-Inorganic Hybrid Composite Separator using Water-Soluble Polymer Binders
초록 In lithium-ion batteries, a separator is a critical component which prevents physical contact between two electrodes while permitting free ionic transport within the cell. Although the separators offer excellent mechanical strength and chemical stability, they shrink and even melt at high temperature, which causes short circuit. With the goal of developing high performance separator with enhanced thermal stability, we prepared hybrid composite separator using water-soluble polymer and Al2O3.  The cycling performances of the cells were evaluated and the results were compared to those obtained with a pristine PE separator.
