제목 ATRP with High Oxidation State Metal Complexes
초록 Atom transfer radical polymerization (ATRP) is one of the most widely used techniques in the field of polymerization of the living radical polymerization, because of its diversity and superiority over other methods. However, ATRP also suffers some disadvantages due to the use of low oxidation state metals, which mandates the use of special handling procedures, as well as air- and moisture-free storage. Consequently, recent researches have focused on developing more convenient ATRP systems without air oxidation sensitivity such as AGET, ARGET, ICAR. More recently we have discovered GAMA(generation of activators by monomer activation) as a new ATRP without oxidation problem. In this presentation we describe the diversity of GAMA basically such as types of metal compounds, GAMA with the use of ppm amout of metal compound, GAMA without initiators, GAMA under the hydroscopic condition.
