Physical properties of Silicone Acrylic Resins Coating |

To prepare silicone acrylic resins coatings, silicone acrylic resins were synthesized by a radical polymerization and 3-methacryloxypropyltrimethoxysilane were used as a silicone monomer. Tg of the acrylic copolymer was fixed at 30℃. On the basis of synthesized resins white enamel paints were prepared Di-n-butyltin dilaurate for curing agents of synthetic silicone acrylic resins were used and their hardness and weather resistance were examined. As increasing the contents of 3-methacryloxypropyltrimethoxysilane, the hardness and weather resistance was investigated. |
