Hydrogen Storage Capacity of Sucrose-based Microporous Carbons |

In this study, we have prepared sucrose-based microporous carbons (SMCs) for hydrogen storage. Chemical activation was performed with various temperatures to increase the specific surface area and microporosity. The structural properties were investigated by X-ray diffraction (XRD). The morphological properties were analyzed by scanning electron microscope (SEM). The textural properties were investigated by N2/77 K adsorption isotherms using Brunauer-Emmett-Teller equation (BET). The hydrogen storage capacity was investigated by a volumetric measurement at 77 K/1 bar and 298 K/100 bar |
